The Real Aussie Kids Junior Development Program is inviting applications from dedicated young cyclists going into the U17 category in 2009 (consideration will also be given to 2nd year U15 riders). There are a limited number of “Scholarship” and “Development” positions available to keen riders with strong Road capabilities. Please complete a RAK Rider Application form and forward, preferably by email, to annie@magswitch.com.au

Hey everyone,
Well it’s all over now, and I can say I’m finally a world champion. Our team created history with Australia getting it’s greatest results yet and topping the medal tally with 7 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze. In the Individual Pursuit, I rode off last as I was seeded top spot since I was the highest placed 1st year rider from last year and the favourite, so that was a big advantage to me to see the time I needed to ride in order to qualify to ride off fo ...

Excitement is running high in the RAK camp after the outstanding results of two of its members at the Junior World Track Championships in Capetown, South Africa this week. As members of the 13 strong Australian Team, Tom Palmer and Sarah Kent competed against the best athletes from 59 nations for World Championship glory.

The Real Aussie Kids travelled north to Wyoming on the weekend to compete in what has become one of their favourite three stage tours in the US, The Dead Dog Classic. The Wild West setting of the vast prairie plains and snow capped mountains make this race unique and tough!! This year the event attracted a high quality field of riders from teams including Garmin Chipotle (Slipstream), Tokyo Joe’s and Tyler Hamilton’s new outfit, Rock Racing.
